Letter from Lion PDG Howard Hudson
As most of you know, this weekend was the MD4 convention where I was a candidate for International Director. Unfortunately, we didn't win this election. It was won by IPCC Larry Dicus.
From the feedback we received and have received throughout the campaign, however, everyone is convinced that we ran a very good, clean campaign and they have expressed their appreciation for how we kept things honest and above board throughout the campaign.
Lynn & I can't thank everyone enough for your support and encouragement throughout this campaign. The Lions of 4-A3 came through beautifully in support of our candidacy and your presence there was so wonderful. It really helped as we proceeded through the campaign. And it was the support of our friends that really kept us going.
The good news from this is that the Multiple District is not divided. And at this point, it appears that, while there is disappointment on our part and the part of our wonderful supporters, there is very little healing that will have to take place for the Lions to move forward as a result of this outcome.
